Our menu is heavily influenced by recipes Nonna Rosa first learned from her family, who came out of the Naples and Calabrian regions of southern Italy, and served in our original family restaurant, La Cantina in Paw Paw. Dishes from these regions tend toward bold flavors, red sauces, fresh herbs and vegetables, and plenty of meat. Yet since Naples are Calabria are on the Mediterranean coast, fish dishes were also readily represented on the region’s menus, as they are on ours.
Mangia Mangia Chef Allen Worman brings his own passion and training in Italian cuisine to enhance even further the tastes and culinary traditions we offer our diners.
